Tucker Carlson: Pro-Islam, Anti-American, And Toxic For Republicans

There was a time when Tucker Carlson occupied a defensible place in polite society. He was combative, sometimes reckless, often theatrical, but still tethered to a recognizable, traditional American moral framework.

That framework is gone. What has replaced it is something far darker, far smaller, and far more corrosive to any legitimate non-lefty coalition.

Carlson’s recent record shows not principled dissent but ideological decay. It reveals a man increasingly animated not by American national interest or cultural preservation, but by grievance, resentment, and a perverse attraction to defending forces that have historically and openly opposed Western civilization.

The result is a public figure who no longer belongs anywhere near respectable institutions.

The rupture became impossible to ignore in June, when Carlson aggressively confronted Senator Ted Cruz over U.S. policy toward Iran and Israel, framing American support for Israel as a betrayal of “America First” priorities. This was not a measured debate over foreign entanglements. It was an attempt to recast one of America’s most consistent alliances as morally suspect, while treating a theocratic adversary as a misunderstood victim.

The left applauded this spectacle, characterizing Carlson’s position as part of an emerging isolationist “woke right” critique of Israel. That praise alone should have raised alarms. Carlson was no longer challenging excess. He was laundering hostility toward Israel through populist rhetoric.

Anyone with an ounce of intellectual honesty should know full well where such narratives historically lead.

That trajectory hardened throughout 2025. In November, Carlson appeared with Piers Morgan and dismissed public concern over Islam’s growing influence in Britain as exaggerated, arguing that fears about Muslim population growth were overblown. The point was not prudence but was, instead, deflection. Legitimate civilizational questions were waved away in favor of moral scolding aimed almost exclusively at the right.

One month later, speaking at Turning Point USA’s AmericaFest in Phoenix, Carlson went further, rebuking conservatives for criticizing American Muslims as a group and declaring such criticism “disgusting,” a remark that stunned the audience into silence.

The problem was not the defense of individual civil rights. It was the refusal to acknowledge ideological realities that shape law, culture, and power wherever Islamism gains influence.

That refusal reached its most dishonest form days later. Dismissing concerns raised by a poll at AmericaFest ranking radical Islam as a top threat, Carlson claimed that he did not know anyone in the United States killed by radical Islam in the last 24 years.

Pay close attention to his words. Twenty-five years would have encompassed September 11, 2001, the deadliest Islamist attack in American history. Shrinking the timeline allowed Carlson to erase an event that reshaped American life to its core. This says nothing of the numerous Islamist terror attacks that have followed 9/11. Particularly those on American soil.

What Carlson spews is not analysis. It is a grotesque rhetorical manipulation.

The broader pattern reveals motive. After his 2023 departure from Fox News, Carlson abandoned a mass audience for a subscriber-based platform, the Tucker Carlson Network, increasingly tailored to fringe and extremist sensibilities. The break freed him from institutional restraint and rewarded provocation over persuasion.

The descent accelerated in September 2024, when Carlson hosted Darryl Cooper and praised him as “the best and most honest popular historian,” despite Cooper’s record of Holocaust denial. By mid-September, Republican officials and conservative outlets were openly condemning Carlson for amplifying venomous historical revisionism.

Even Donald Trump’s 2024 victory did not halt the spiral. In June 2025, Carlson accused Trump of enabling war with Iran over Israeli strikes and publicly berated Senator Cruz immediately thereafter. Trump dismissed Carlson as “kooky,” a rare but telling rebuke.

By September, Carlson’s eulogy at a memorial service for Charlie Kirk drew credible accusations of antisemitism. The climax arrived on October 28, when Carlson interviewed anti-Trump, and fringe-right, cult leader Nick Fuentes. Carlson derided Christian Zionists as victims of a “brain virus.” Representative Randy Fine responded by calling Carlson “the most dangerous antisemite in America.”

None of this is random. As I have argued, Carlson’s behavior is driven less by ideology than by civilizational grievance. Raised in elite WASP circles as the son of a diplomat and an heiress, Carlson grew up inside a ruling class that collapsed within two generations. His career now functions as a prolonged act of revenge against a world that moved on without him.

That rage has metastasized into open contempt for the GOP itself.

In October, Carlson told a Turning Point audience that he “kind of hate[s] the Republican Party.” Months earlier, he questioned whether he could support a party that included Rep. Fine. During November, he declared there would be “no reason” for the GOP to exist if Lindsey Graham, whom Trump endorsed, won his midterm primary. Weeks later, Carlson said he might have to oppose the party outright because he hated its leadership class for purported betrayals.

This is not reform. It is nihilism.

Carlson’s pro-Islamic advocacy, his fixation on Israel as a uniquely illegitimate ally, and his indulgence of extremists all serve the same end. They allow him to burn institutions that failed to preserve his inherited status. That is a degenerate motivation, and it produces degenerate outcomes.

There is no moral, political, or strategic justification for allowing Carlson anywhere near even vaguely respectable non-lefty organizations. He should be excluded without apology from campaigns, donor networks, think tanks, youth organizations, media enterprises, and Republican infrastructure. Not because dissent is forbidden, but because this dissent is not productive.

Carlson did not merely lose his way. He chose it.

Any lingering affection for him rests on memory, not reality. It is nostalgia for a Fox News version of Carlson that no longer exists. The figure operating today is not the sharp critic of elite excess many once admired, but a reckless accelerant of American self-destruction. Clinging to old impressions only delays an unavoidable reckoning.

Carlson’s current project is not American renewal, despite his patriotic rhetoric. It is demolition without any aim for creative destruction. He tears at alliances, institutions, and moral boundaries not to strengthen the American right but to gratify grievance and command attention. That is why his rhetoric grows more extreme as his audience narrows. Provocation has replaced persuasion. Contempt has replaced responsibility.

This matters because influence carries consequence.

Carlson is not an obscure crank shouting into the void. He retains name recognition, pop-cultural reach, and credibility borrowed from his storied past. When he trivializes Islamist violence, softens the ideological realities of political Islam, or treats America’s enemies as misunderstood, he launders dangerous ideas through a familiar voice.

That is how movements lose their compass without noticing they have slipped.

For Republicans, this path is radioactive. It fractures coalitions, alienates allies, and hands rhetorical weapons to the left. For America, it corrodes moral clarity at a moment when clarity is a strategic necessity. For the West, it weakens civilizational confidence in the face of adversaries who do not share its freedoms and never will.

The hardest truth is also the simplest. Tucker Carlson is no longer a flawed ally of American greatness. He is an active opponent, masquerading as a truth-teller. Remembering who he was cannot excuse who he has chosen to become.

Tune this menace out once and for all.

Kid with cell phone exposes $110 million in Somali fraud in Minnesota

Nick Shirley is an impressive young independent video journalist who at the age of about 27, is already pretty well known for his excellent coverage of Joe Biden's open borders, making a wonderful, watchable documentary of a day in the life of an illegal alien, housed in one of New York's hotels as well as other topics, such as flooding in North Carolina. He's a master of man-on-the-street interviews. I wrote about his earlier effort here.

Now he's outdone himself, taking his cell phone and a man named David he's working with, to record and expose massive Somali fraud in Minnesota. In one day -- yesterday -- he made this 42 minute video exposing a Somali racket in Minnesota here:

CNN Claims Being a Woman in Israel is Worse Than Saudi Arabia

In Saudi Arabia, women have to get approval from a male guardian to get a job or leave the country. In Israel, women can run the country. In Saudi Arabia, women have to wear a burka (called an ‘abaya’) while in Israel, they can wear what they want.

But CNN decided to run a story claiming that it’s better to be a woman in Saudi Arabia than in Israel. While that contention would explain CNN, the media and the entire liberal establishment’s backing for mass Muslim migration, the ‘news network’ decided to run a story claiming that under Netanyahu, women have lost all their rights.

American Christianity 101: Megan Basham reveals her sympathy for abusers started with her dad

(Opinion) For the past several years, I have wondered why Daily Wire journalist and author Megan Basham consistently supports sexual predators, while attacking their victims. This week, I found out, thanks to a recently released email Basham sent to a source in 2022, explaining her motives.

Basham’s email reveals a stunning lack of objectivity on her part and suggests that her sympathy for abusers stems from her desire to protect her father, not an impartial assessment of the facts.

The email is included in recently  unsealed court documents. Former Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (SBTS) professor David Sills is suing the Louisville, Kentucky, school, its president Al Mohler, the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC), Guidepost Solutions and others. Sills claims the defendants falsely labeled him a sexual abuser for what he contends was a consensual relationship with a former student and family friend, Jennifer Lyell.

Lyell claimed that Sills, who was 23 years older than her, exploited her vulnerability as a 26-year-old student with a history of childhood sexual abuse. She says Sills set himself up as her surrogate father and used his position to manipulate her into years-long, non-consensual sexual contact.

Though the abuse allegedly began in 2004, Lyell didn’t go public with the allegations until 2019, when she was working as an executive at Lifeway, the publishing arm of the SBC. When she did, Baptist Press framed the abuse as a “morally inappropriate relationship,” implying consent. This harmed Lyell’s reputation, prompted her to resign from Lifeway, and damaged her health.

Leftists crushed in blowout conservative presidential victory in Chile

After years of namby-pamby conservative presidential candidates, Chile's conservatives came up with a real one -- and this was the result:

Chileans elected their most right-wing president in a generation, with hard-line conservative José Antonio Kast winning easily after vowing to clamp down on crime and illegal immigration https://t.co/7yy78ow1Dp

— The Wall Street Journal (@WSJ) December 15, 2025

He won every single region, including the lefty regions, such as the big cities.

It wasn't close:

Tonight in Chile, the ultraconservative José Antonio Kast, who declared that if General Pinochet were alive today “clearly he would vote for me”, has won the Presidential election in a LANDSLIDE against the communist candidate. Very nice Chile! pic.twitter.com/luIpufMIo0

Large crowds out celebrating that the Socialists lost the election in Chile.

The right-wing candidate won.

In the rugged, cowboy-like far south, out where the wild things are -- think 'Montana,' 'Alberta' and 'Alaska,' -- it was 100%:

In the south, they ALL went for Kast https://t.co/xiUcHpNp9W

— Monica Showalter (@mmshowalter1) December 15, 2025

It probably helped that Chile was run by a socialist government. People see a socialist government up close and know what it means for them -- less freedom, more disorder, thugs in charge, and know that there's more coming. With the memory of it in front of them, they go the other way. And when the leftist administration places a communist party member in front of them as their AOC-style chosen candidate, (which happened), they run.

Hence, the blowout results.

In Chile's case, the big issues were crime -- with cops and prosecutors not doing their jobs, and open borders, which invited every criminal from the third world in without authorization. Chile has always been a crime-free nation -- that is, until the migrants got let in.

Put those two issues together and the crime rate soared.

With most of the thugs getting in from Venezuela, it didn't take long for Venezuelan state death squads against dissidents to start turning up. That happened in Chile. The government response was feckless, and Chileans wanted no more of it.

Kast got into office by vowing to build a wall on Chile's northern border to keep illegals out.

According to the New York Times:

“Kast understood very early that these two issues were driving people crazy,” said Claudio Fuentes, a Chilean political scientist, “and he was able to focus on them.”

Mr. Kast visited Chile’s most crime-ridden areas and promised strict measures, including by announcing a countdown for migrants to self-deport or be deported.

As the Kast government prepares to take on organized crime, said Mr. Carter, the campaign spokesman, “there will be casualties.’’

He won, despite the press bid to paint him as a Nazi, based on his father, a Bavarian, being forced to serve in Hitler's army, same as Pope Benedict XVI had been. Bavarians are Catholics who reliably hated Hitler.

They also brought up that his brother Miguel served as "a minister" in the military government of Augusto Pinochet, sleazily suggesting that he had engaged in death-squad activity, which was very scant in Chile, as most of the casualties during that time of troubles were armed radical leftist guerrillas who shot at the army first.

Brother Miguel had nothing to do with any of that -- he was an economist, and not just any economist but a Chicago Boy, a disciple of Milton Friedman, one of the most brilliant of them, and served as Pinochet's central bank chief, solidifying the value of Chile's money after decades of socialist devaluation, making savings a non-losing proposition, killing hyperinflation, and setting the stage for Chile's economic miracle. He was only in office a brief time before he died of cancer at the age of 34, yet his contribution was absolutely stellar.

Here's the New York Times's sleazy, innuendo-filled take, which disgusted me to read:

After a Chilean reporter posted a document showing that his father was a member of the Nazi party, Mr. Kast rejected the claim, saying that he was just a conscripted soldier in the Nazi army and that both he and his father abhorred Nazism. His brother, Miguel Kast, was a minister during Augusto Pinochet’s military dictatorship, which killed and disappeared thousands of people.

Mr. Kast has been active in politics since he was a law student at Chile’s Pontifical Catholic university in Santiago. He was a follower of Jaime Guzmán, a law scholar who was one of the main ideological architects of the Pinochet dictatorship.

Oh, and who was Jaime Guzman? Let's bring that one up, too: The architect of Chile's transition-to-democracy 1980 constitution, the one that has kept Chile from skidding into Chavismo and all the other freak shows of Latin America, and another giant of Chile's economic transformation. What happened to Jaime Guzman? He was assassinated by a crazed leftist guerrilla in 1991 at the age of 44, in an unprovoked broad-daylight attack. Leftist guerrillas don't do constitutions or rule of law, they don't like it.

There's no doubt Kast will embrace the Chicago Boy energy and put Chile on the path to prosperity (which Chile hasn't seen a lot of in the last 20 years) through the miracle of free market economics. It's in his blood, it's in his thinking. He seriously believes in free markets and the prosperity that follows from them. He's not a namby-pamby.

It's also all but certain he will get along great with President Javier Milei of Argentina (whose success in transforming that country into an economic dynamo probably influenced a few votes, too) -- look at how they romp and frolic already -- the third guy is Eduardo Bolsonaro, the imprisoned former president of Brazil who is looking to win office, too:

Nuevo presidente electo de Chile: Kast.

Arrasa con más del 60% de los votos, y gana en todas las regiones.

pic.twitter.com/QXvzcvkU91

— El Trumpista (@ElTrumpista) December 14, 2025

Those guys love each other, and together, will form a powerhouse alliance of free market prosperity they can call the Jose San Martin alliance  -- because the historic liberator hero of both these countries loved himself some freedom and rule of law.

And they're getting together tomorrow, to solidify the Southern Cone as a coming free market miracle:

Milei will welcome Chile's conservative president-elect tomorrow at the presidential residence in Argentina! https://t.co/ZoXC4GOTsl

— Daniel Di Martino 🇺🇸🇻🇪 (@DanielDiMartino) December 15, 2025

I bet they invite Paraguay's and Bolivia's leaders to the conservative/libertarian club, too, as well as Peru and Ecuador if they are interested. Maybe all of them -- particularly if Colombia changes course, which I think it will next year, Brazil does, too, and Venezuela ousts its dirty dictator. I can't help but feel there will be a huge chain reaction that will accelerate with President Trump's pressure campaign on Venezuela and the presence of free market flowers coming up big down south.

Singapore proves that immigrants can conform to basic values in their new country

One of the infuriating aspects of the leftist approach to immigration, both legal and illegal, from Third World countries with values antithetical to the West, is that these new immigrants cannot be expected to conform to the customs and laws of their new homes.

However, a few hours spent in Singapore’s Little India convinced me—as if I needed convincing—that this is complete garbage. Given sufficiently strong disincentives, new immigrants will conform perfectly well to the laws of their new countries.

Where this leftist attitude toward excusing serious crimes by immigrants shows up most is in the case of those immigrants, especially illegal immigrants, accused of rape. This is because we have been accustomed to the revolving door of criminal justice for crimes other than rape and murder, and that’s true whether the offender is here legally or illegally. However, we still take rape relatively seriously, a legacy of a time when the West felt it was compelled to protect women, and of the feminist MeToo movement.

Thus, in Maryland, it appears that judges are doing their best to protect child rapists to prevent their being deported:

A FOX45 News investigation found that Baltimore County Circuit Court judges disproportionally hand down lenient sentences in criminal child sex cases involving illegal immigrants.

Public records show that Baltimore County State’s Attorney Scott Shellenberger’s office filed 99 child sex crime cases between January 1, 2023, and May 31, 2024. Nearly 10% of the child sex cases in Baltimore County, involving nine defendants over a 17-month period, involved illegal immigrants from Central American countries.

And in Minnesota, there was the case of Abdimahat Bille Mohamed:

Abdimahat Bille Mohamed, who legally entered the US during the Obama administration, is charged with kidnapping and sexually assaulting a woman over several days in a hotel room in September.

Mohamed, 28, was only free because of sweet deals he’s received from state courts in two previous rape cases, including one involving a child.

“Sweet deals” is not an exaggeration. If you go to the article at the New York Post from which I quoted, you will be shocked at Mohamed’s light-footed journey through Minnesota’s criminal justice system.

The situation in the United Kingdom, of course, is much worse. Do I need to expand on the history of the Rotherham rape cases? These travesties of justice continue to be a huge problem in England with Muslim immigrants, whether legal or illegal, who know that the likelihood of being seriously punished is minimal.

For example, Qais Al-Aswad, a newly arrived illegal Syrian immigrant housed in an immigrant detention center, went on a one-man crime wave of sexual assault. He received an extremely light sentence, which many ascribed to the fact that the judge commented on Al-Aswad’s unfamiliarity with the fact that you do not sexually assault women in Britain.

The message is clear: they are not like us, nor should we expect them to be. We must constantly turn the other cheek as they violate our laws, customs, and mores.

Singapore, however, does not have this attitude toward immigrants. When you come to Singapore, you are expected to follow Singaporean law. You are also expected to arrive legally, which means you will have had time to familiarize yourself with the big no-nos in Singapore.

I thought of this when I visited Singapore’s Little India neighborhood the other day. The main streets differ markedly from those in Singapore. That’s because Singapore, which has almost no natural resources, is a business hub, and this business attitude trickles down to the fact that it is the most amazing mall country I have ever seen.

In the more affluent parts of Singapore, there are blocks and blocks and blocks of interconnected shopping malls filled with hundreds of shiny, often very high-end, stores. The malls are safe, the bathrooms are clean and well-maintained, the food courts are magnificent, and the ease with which you can spend money is almost frightening. And of course, it’s all air-conditioned and out of the rain.

Little India is also replete with stores. However, it doesn’t feel like Singapore. Instead, my companion, who has also visited India, said that it really does replicate the feel of India, with myriad open-air booths lining the street. It’s an immigrant neighborhood, and the ground-level streets are a poor man’s shopping mall. This wasn’t entirely unfamiliar to me, of course, because I have traveled in parts of the Middle East. Little India is typical of poorer commercial communities.

What distinguished little India from the Middle Eastern neighborhoods in which I’ve traveled, and, according to my companion, from India itself, is that it’s so clean. It wasn’t just the absence of road dust. It was the absence of garbage, spitting, food rotting in the streets and behind restaurants, and any other offensive detritus you can imagine in a busy and poorly maintained area. (See my photo, above, of an alley behind some restaurants.)

The cleanliness and order are at odds with the culture that the Indian immigrants left behind in India. Perhaps I’m reading too much into things, for I am, after all, a recently arrived tourist, but it seems to me that the Indian immigrants were able to change their behavior patterns because they were expected to do so. As everyone knows, the laws in Singapore's Little India for littering and otherwise despoiling one’s environment are extremely specific and severe. Consequences work.

I suspect the same is true for the more serious crimes. India has long been known for having a “rape culture.” Singapore, by contrast, does not have a rape culture. Not only are the consequences for rape severe, but I am willing to bet that the judges do not accept cross-cultural excuses.

That may explain why, in a country of slightly over 6 million people, Singapore had only 401 reported cases of rape last year. Of course, there will always be underreporting, but even that is unlikely to change the total figure.

Singapore demonstrates what we all know: immigrants are fully capable of complying with the laws of their new countries if they understand that those laws will be enforced and that enforcement will cause them pain. As long as the West refuses to enforce its laws and to make clear that we expect all people to conform to customs and mores when in the public sphere, we can expect our continued degradation into a third-world status.

Two defectors say Trump was right all along about Venezuela being a narcostate ...

One of the worst "narratives" about Venezuela's dictatorship revolves around whether the socialist hellhole is a narcostate, justifying President Trump's emerging military buildup in the Caribbean, including Naval strikes on speedboats transferring state-produced cocaine to the U.S. If the Venezuelan state is, it's a narcostate.

The Democrat-deep state-news media complex has been spreading the piece-by-piece narrative that they aren't.

Here's 60 Minutes and a Chavista shill ironically called 'propaganda monitor,' still denying there's any such thing as Cartel de los Soles.

More Bad Illegal Alien Truck Drivers Who Don’t Speak English

An illegal alien from Kyrgyzstan almost killed drivers when he was passing through Oklahoma after tires he was hauling came loose on an interstate. One of the tires damaged an Oklahoma Highway Patrol unit.

Below is video released by ICE of this illegal interacting with the OHP officer, and he can barely speak any English. It took three attempts for the officer to determine where this illegal even lived.

This illegal alien with a New York CDL doesn’t speak English and could have killed Oklahoma drivers with flying tires if it weren’t for our OK Highway Patrol.

Kutmanali Bekbolot, a Kyrgyz citizen, lost tires all over the highway because he didn’t properly secure them.

Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy is working on this problem, but he faces four years of states handing out CDLs, and they still are doing so. This driver should be deported and the company that gave him a CDL should be closed immediately.

Walz’s welfare wonderland

Minnesota’s Governor Tim Walz — Kamala Harris’s former aw-shucks VP sidekick — now faces a scandal so colossal it could swallow the state budget whole. Over 480 Department of Human Services (DHS) employees have blown the whistle, accusing Walz of masterminding a cover-up for a Somali immigrant-led fraud ring that siphoned more than $1 billion from social programs.

That’s billion with a B — stolen through COVID relief scams, fake autism diagnoses, and Medicaid kickbacks, with funds funneled overseas, including to Al-Shabaab terrorists. One standout grifter, 29-year-old Asha Farhan Hassan, allegedly pocketed $14 million alone from programs meant for vulnerable kids. Federal prosecutors have nailed 59 perps so far, but 80% of the loot remains unrecovered, leaving Minnesotans footing the bill for everything from phantom child-feeding initiatives to juror bribes.

Whistleblowers paint a chilling picture: They signaled red flags early — loophole-riddled programs in housing, behavioral health, and disability services designed without safeguards to “extract more funding.” Walz’s response? Crickets, followed by a crackdown. Staff endured email surveillance, reassignments, family threats, and repression to bury reports and avoid “demonizing entire communities.”

Why the Left is doomed

Have you experienced an incandescent light glowing brightly just before it burns out? Sometimes, just before breaking, the filament may briefly arc or surge, which appears as a flash of extra brightness. As fanciful as it sounds, so too might the progressive movement burn out in a blinding flash of light when we least expect it. The fall of the Soviet Union happened with little warning. Whether it does so or not largely depends on the actions of but a few of us. While it is not a sure thing, today's conditions are a perfect setup for the left's demise.

*While capitalists and legions of individualists can point to thousands of years of successful nation-building, socialism and communism cannot point to any nation or culture that prospered.

Remembering Rayan Al-Najjar

Yet another young Muslim girl – one of the few that we know of among the many such victims – has become the victim of an “honor” killing in the world of Islam.

This time it is 18-year-old Rayan al-Najjar in the Netherlands, murdered by her father Khaled and two brothers Mohammed and Mohaned, for “dating, refusing to wear a hijab and living a Western life.” For bringing this “shame” upon her family – and for wanting to be free – Rayan’s brothers kidnapped her, gagged and bound her, and threw her into a swamp to drown.

Rayan’s father has admitted the murder, but has escaped to Syria. The brothers are now on trial. When taken into custody, they told police that killing their sister was simply “part of their culture.”

Part of their “culture” it surely is – Islamic culture, that is. The Qur’an and Islamic law provide a foundation for honor killing and sanction it – and that is precisely why honor killings are so widespread across the Islamic world.

Robert Spencer is one of the world’s leading experts on Islam’s abuse of woman, and his new book, Holy Hell: Islam’s Abuse of Women and the Infidels Who Enable It, reveals how Islamic theology inspires, enforces and justifies honor killings – as well as the myriad other ways Islam tortures, maims and subjugates women. Everyone should read it.

Anyone who has the courage and integrity to face what Islam truly teaches, understands why 18-year-old Rayan al-Najjar had to die. It’s the same reason why Aqsa ParvezAmina and Sarah Said, the Shafia sistersShaima AlawadiNoor AlmalekiShafilea Ahmed, and so many other Muslim women and girls, all of whom cannot unfortunately be listed here, had to be sacrificed on the altar of Islamic ideals.

When reflecting on the horror that Rayan al-Najjar had to endure at the hands of her Muslim family, and how this horror represents the fate and suffering of millions of Muslim women and girls across the Islamic world, one can’t help but wonder: Where are the howls of moral indignation coming from Western feminists on behalf of Rayan and Muslim women in general?

Where are the Women’s Studies Departments across U.S. campuses? Where are the panelists of ABC’s The View? When will Joy Behar, Whoopi Goldberg and Sunny Hostin speak on this issue? When will they invite Robert Spencer and Anni Cyrus on their show to discuss and explain why Rayan al-Najjar is no longer with us?

This is, of course, nothing new. There has always been a Western feminist silence about the suffering of Muslim women under Islamic gender apartheid. I confront and document this issue in my new forthcoming book, United in Hate: The Left’s Romance with Tyranny, Terror, and Hamas.

This is a leftist phenomenon. The West’s leftist feminists always respond with an apathetic heartlessness and deafening silence to the suffering of Muslim women. Anyone who discerns what the Left really is understands why it is totally logical and expected for leftist feminists to behave in this shameful and inhuman manner.

Indeed, in the world of leftist feminism, it is politically correct and cutting-edge to wail and scream with seething rage about a woman’s right to an abortion, but to actually care for – and come to the defense of – a female victim of an honor killing, acid attack, gang rape, forced marriage or some other heinous crime under Islam is unthinkable.

This is because admitting the true nature of Islam, and the theology and institutions on which it is based, and denouncing it, violates the central code of the “progressive” leftist faith: anti-Westernism and cultural relativism. No culture can be said to be worse than any other – unless it is Western culture, which is always fair game for derision and condemnation. But to criticize any Third-World culture in general – and an adversary culture in particular – is to surrender the political cause and faith.

Western leftist feminists couldn’t care less about real actual breathing women; they care only about their own ideological beliefs and agendas – which are founded upon the goal of destroying their own host capitalist-democratic society.

For leftist feminists, the victims of Islamic gender apartheid can be easily forgotten and dismissed for the sake of their ultimate goal: to aid and abet the West’s totalitarian enemies and to wreak destruction upon their own free societies, which bestow the individual liberties and rights that they despise and abhor.

To actually care for Rayan al-Najjar, and to stand up for her, would necessitate leftist feminists admitting the true nature of Islam, and admitting that it is vicious and barbaric, and inferior to Western Judeo-Christian culture. Admitting such a thing would then lead to admitting that Western culture is better and superior and, therefore (and here comes the kicker) worth defending and protecting. This is simply anathema to the Left, whose entire purpose is, again, to destroy our Western society.

It is crucial to understand that deep down the Left loves the Islamic forced coverings on women. Leftist feminists long for the burqa/niqab — though this longing is subconscious on many levels in many of them and they, at certain stages, want it initially enforced only on other women rather than on themselves.

All of this is connected to why the Left has always had a love affair with unisex/desexualized dress. I have documented the Left’s romance with Maoist unisex clothing in United in Hate, which is linked to the Left’s current romance with forced veiling under Islam, as well as with the Covid mask.

This is the key: forced covering satisfies in leftists their morbid pining for enforced sameness. It is crucial, in their world, to erase physical as well as emotional differences and attractions between people. In the utopian endgame, humans must all be replicas of each other and be completely devoted to the cause, the revolutionary state, and to its all-knowing administering of “equality” and “social justice.”

Thus, leftists adamantly support women’s sexual “self-determination,” for instance, if it enables their war against their own host democratic-capitalist societies — and if it can hurt the Judeo-Christian tradition. But if a totalitarian adversarial society is stifling women’s rights in this context, then leftists vehemently support that oppression, since they worship that particular tyranny in question, and gleefully welcome the threat it poses to their own host society.

Longing to submerge themselves into a totality where even their own choices will be negated, leftists are always drawn to a totalitarian entity within which they can lose themselves. And it is in this twisted paradigm that these lost individuals – who suffer from an immense feeling of alienation – finally feel connected to something. They finally belong.

The leftist enterprise has always been a death wish – a self-loathing suicidal odyssey to shed oneself of one’s own unwanted self and in that process to blur oneself into a collective totalitarian whole. And it is in this despotic hell that they find their purpose, meaning and sense of belonging.

This is ultimately why the Italian cheerleader for Hamas, Vittorio Arrigoni, ended up being murdered at the hands of the Islamic terrorists that he venerated throughout his life. As I have revealed, Vittorio Arrigoni went to Gaza hoping to die. It is the typical narrative of the fellow travelers and political pilgrims that sociologist Paul Hollander has documented.

And so this is why leftist feminists will never shed a tear or utter one word of concern or protest when witnessing 18-year-old Rayan al-Najjar drowning while gagged, with her hands bound behind her back and her ankles taped together, in a swamp.

So don’t ever hold your breath waiting for Joy Behar, Whoopi Goldberg and Sunny Hostin to discuss why Ryan had to die – and to discuss it honestly with scholars of Islam such as Robert Spencer and Anni Cyrus about all the reasons why.

There is too much hatred, self-hatred and darkness in the heart of the Left for that to ever become a realistic scenario.
